The story tellers

Updated: Apr 30, 2020

Welcome to my Blog Post for May 2020. It seems we are living, and experiencing some unsettling times. But if we focus on the teachings, and on acceptance, it might make things easier to live with.

My newest piece is called "The Story Tellers". It has been something I have wanted to make for quite sometime. But it waited for the right time before it allowed the making to happen. Our ancestors told stories, to learn, grow, and teach from. If your descendants or Grandchildren were sitting in front of you today, asking about these times, what will you tell them?

May greed and money, be replaced with giving and sharing. May the skies once again be clear and blue, filled with birds and song. May the rivers and oceans run clear and free of plastic, and full of healthy marine life. May we focus less on material things, and more on nature, and the miracles. May we learn to waste nothing, and be thankful for what we have. May we embrace pain and suffering, so we can learn the truth of gratitude. May we never forget, and always honor all that has been sacrificed, for our ignorance, and greed. May we remember to reach out to others, no matter our differences. May we cherish and honor our children, and homes, as we learn to drive and travel less. May the trees stand tall and proud, while the animals roam free once again. As we are all connected, and we are all one. What we do to the Planet, we do ourselves, may she heal, and rest, and shine once again. Peacefully Heidi F Kummli
