Prayer boxes
Prayer boxes, dream boxes, intention boxes, whatever best describes a small box that one can add good thoughts into. That's not to say you can't add anything you want to this little box. But since I am coming from a place of spirituality I will just call them a prayer box.
I first came across them while scrolling through Pinterest and I saw some very cool boxes a lady was making as gifts. She called them prayer boxes and described how they were given to people to write their prayers or dreams on a piece of a paper and then add them to the box.
I thought that was such a cleaver idea, why not fill a little box with all you hopes and dreams, some day returning to see if any of them came true.
In this project we will be using some mailing boxes you probably already have in your closet filled with packaging material rather than dreams.
Why not cover them with some fabulous fabric and add some bead work upon them, why not give them as gifts for friends and family to fill with their own dreams why the heck not. We certainly know the world could use some.

Find a cardboard box in your collection to decorate. Find some nice thin fabric to cover it with, Of course you can use any box you have
Collect components that you wish to adorn the top of your box with. Using a piece of ultra suede cut to size draw some grid lines to help with placement of you components.
Will you have feet on your box if so what will they be. Cabinet knobs work great but keep an eye on the size of them.

offering vessels
Often when I take a walk in the forest I feel as though I am so enriched by the experience, the gifts that nature offers us. Perhaps a stone, or feather are carried home.
It is only right that we offer something in return, this is when I decided to make some offering vessels that could easily be attached to your belt loop and inside filled with herbs, cornmeal, or tobacco to offer back.
These easy to make vessels can also be filled with seeds and small stones to make the most perfect rattle.
Rattles have been used for centuries to cleanse, heal, and connect us to the rhythms of the Earth.
